Design and prototype testing and usage began in 2000 with production startup following in 2004. Stable Grid provides a permanent solution. The grid actually becomes a part of the natural flooring - as a stabilizer. The base layer and top layer will be permanently separated and unable to move. They are actually good for the environment as well as horses and other livestock. Stable Grid System offers excellent durability, drainage, traction and comfort. The grid is interlocking which provides a one piece installation. There is no shifting, therefore no maintenance is required to maintain the level surface. Because the product is made of a recycled polyethylene, it is good for the environment and is practically indestructible in farm/agricultural environments. Livestock hooves will not harm it - not even severe pawing! Stalls Unlike rubber mats, Stable Grid does not trap the wetness in the stall. The bedding stays dryer. Because the top edges of the grid are exposed they actually bear the weight of the horse providing a similar feel to rubber mats but with excellent traction. Because the grids are flush with the fill material, cleaning the stalls is a breeze, tools glide over the surface because the grid is stiff enough to maintain it's original flat, level surface. Stalls can be cleaned in a fraction of the usual time. Paddocks/Arenas Stable Grid provides a permanent separation of the base and top layers. Because it is installed in one-piece, the weight of the horse (or vehicle, etc.) is dispersed across the entire area. The grids are inseparable, therefore there will be no movement of the fill layer. Paddocks and Arenas will stay level and because of the excellent drainage, they will be usable 365 days per year. They can be used in small areas that have mud issues such as gate areas and paths to and from turn out paddocks in the same manner. In grass areas, grass is able to grow through the grids giving a uniform appearance and because the grids bear the weight of the horses, the roots will not be damaged. * Outdoor installations require a small layer of sand, etc. over the finished application for added traction and protection of the grid. Run In Shed Run In Sheds will remain dry and level using the Stable Grid System. They can easily be cleaned out with a flat shovel or tractor blade. The problem of thrush from horses standing in wet run in sheds will be eliminated. Driveways Stable Grid provides a permanent separation of the base and top layer. Because it is installed in one-piece, the weight of vehicles is dispersed across the entire area. The grids are inseparable, therefore there will be no movement of the fill layer. Driveways will stay level and because of the excellent drainage, they will be usable 365 days per year. Grass is able to grow through the grids giving your yard a uniform appearance and because the grids bear the weight of the vehicles the roots will not be damaged by tires. Stable-Grid System surface provides excellent traction and there is much less ice buildup than on asphalt or concrete. Because the drainage is excellent, the formation of black ice is practically impossible. Stable-Grid System does not cause a heat build up in warm climates like asphalt and concrete. Installing a grass driveway eliminates dust and noise. Kennels/Lawn wear from Dogs Stable Grid eliminates digging, even for persistent dogs. This system will greatly reduce wear paths in lawns. Unlike concrete, Stable Grid does not readily absorb cold and heat from the ground making the kennel floor much more comfortable for your dog. The surface remains level for easy cleaning and the entire floor can be sprayed through.

The grid system is extremely shock absorbing which makes it much easier to stand on than concrete or asphalt and does not absorb heat/cold as readily as non porous surfaces. The floor stays level while spills will go through the grid. The floor can be hosed and/or disinfected should you incur a liquid spill. Please remember that all spills go into the soil and take precautions to avoid spills that would be environmentally unsafe. Do not use the floor as a disposal area for materials.
